A Blue Mountain Easter

It was another great Easter here at Blue Mountain. Normally Easter focuses on the kids and their families, but the blue moon allowed us the incredible opportunity to include our adult skiers in on the festivities. Everyone was having a blast hitting the slopes at midnight, and the excitement didn’t end until after 2am. Luckily the weather was kind enough to provide clear skies for the outing, with clouds just coming in towards the end. Those clouds were nice enough to supply us with a fresh layer of snow then getting the heck out of here to give us a beautiful Easter day.

It was great to see all the families again out here with their kids for the Easter Egg hunt. The last egg wasn’t found until late in the afternoon. There were a few kids that were determined to find that last one and finally found it...maybe with a little hint ;). We’re so fortunate to have such loyal families that join us year after year, as well as all the new families that visited us.

Our instructors were out in force providing free skiing and snowboarding lessons. Tom and Ang were great this year leading our Hop on the Hill event. They designed a great course that included different jumps and rails. They did an awesome job teaching so many kids how to do jumps for the first time. There were a few that were pretty nervous, but Tom and Ang were so supportive and positive that they finally got the courage to try. Those kids nailed it though and the smiles on their faces were so great to see. It’s creating that love and joy in those kids that truly make Easter great at Blue Mountain.
