Spring is here, and we are down to only a month left to the season. Saying that we want you to know that there are still a ton of events to enjoy here at Blue Mountain. Get excited and get your calendar ready.
As many of you already know the halfpipe was damaged in early February. We were getting a little worried there if we would get it repaired on schedule, but with hard work and dedication, it will finally be completed this Thursday. We are now set for its relaunch this Saturday, March 24th, for the Dew sponsored showcase. We also are thrilled to announce that it will be Olympic Gold medalist Chloe Kim that will rechristen it and lead the showcase.
Easter has been and always will be a time to celebrate family and friends here at Blue Mountain. Once again, we will be holding the Huge Easter Egg Hunt for the kids as well as other kid and family friendly activities throughout the day. For you young adults though we have something special for you this year. A full moon is expected the night before, so we will be hosting Midnight Skiing to start off Easter right.
Have you been practicing getting insane air and doing crazy tricks? Because April 5th is Go For Broke Day. The day that you can showoff your skills, brag to your friends and competition, and see who Conquered the Mountain. No sign up necessary, just capture your spectacularness and share it with the #GoForBroke.
And finally, to end the season we have our Hawaiian Summertime Weekend, starting Friday April 20th. Ditch the coats and pants and throw on your Hawaiian Shirts and Swimsuits. We’re jumping back to the early 2000’s blaring Sugar Ray and Third Eye Blind, while Tiki Bars make margaritas. And yes, pond skimming will be back. We can’t believe how many people have been asking if we were going to have it again. Trust us, we love it, you love it, it ain’t going nowhere.
These are just a few of the awesome events that are still coming to Blue Mountain. It’s going to be crazy how much fun we are going to have this last month.
